Clean Pickin is a collection of Fiddle Tunes, Fun Songs and Fast-Paced Breakdowns! A group of former and current members of the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team worked together at the Northland Camp and Conference Center in Dunbar, Wisconsin. They traveled throughout the United States and as a part of their ministry, they played these songs in churches, youth rallies, men's meetings, nursing homes, and camps. During the summer weeks, they played in an outdoor concert and then recorded them in the studio.
Featured Instruments: Mandolin, hammered dulcimer, fiddle, banjo, guitar, bass, accordion, and pennywhistle.
We often play this CD during "work" time. It's fast, fun, and my children love listening to it as they buzz around the house Saturday mornings and help tidy up. A light-hearted, entertaining, authentically "country" recording. Highly recommended if you enjoy fiddlin'.
