Amy demonstrated a gift of music at an early age. Her father encouraged her and prayed continually for God to use her talent for His glory and in His service. Amy's dad was suddenly called home to heaven in 1998. However, he enjoyed the privilege of answered prayer many years before his death.
I think Star of Wonder is beautifully and thoughtfully compiled. The selection of Christmas music is just right and the arrangements and performance were equally spot on. It's nice to have it in the background. It has a very calming effect---so much so that my children ask to listen to it as their rest time music! I think Star of Wonder is a great buy for 2 reasons: 1) the music lets your think of the words to the song, which of course is one of the most blessed subjects there is. 2) It gives you an appreciation for simple, solo piano. I would listen to it all year round!
