Speaking of this collection of arrangements, Faye said, "I’m excited to present a new project entitled Give Me Jesus, a trumpet solo collection with piano accompaniment. My son Mark has been the co-arranger on this project and has recorded the demo CD. I’ve accompanied Mark for lots of church solos, and we wanted to create an arrangement book together that really sings out the text. To do that, we’ve kept the arrangements rather basic without a lot of the busy-ness that’s in many trumpet arrangements."
Mark added, "I’ve enjoyed working on this project with my mother. We’ve had this idea for a trumpet book for a while and finally got a list of songs together and started recording ideas. We’re very excited to present this collection to you and hope that you enjoy playing these arrangements to the glory of God."
