Paul Terracini is a master of making classical arrangements of loved hymns (even if I hadn't heard them before, they are now loved by me). If you like classical music, or traditional hymns, then that is enough reason to buy this collection. If you love both, then it's a must-have!

We enjoy music and these CD's have been no exception. We also enjoy hearing hymns that we have never heard before. Music lovers will enjoy these beautiful songs. Christians will enjoy the songs that honour our Saviour.

At a time when good music is hard to come by - this is a must have. Beautiful orchestral and choir arrangements make you want to close your eyes and ponder our Almighty God. (Not good for in the car if you are going to do that!!) Also... what a great price for 3 CD's!

I absolutely love these CDs . . . listening to the great hymns of faith played by these orchestras is so spiritually uplifting! What I particularly like is how the music played reflects the words of the hymns. I personally think these CDs are the best orchestral hymn CDs I have ever heard.

This is a superb recording of hymns! Paul Terracini is a very gifted arranger and conductor. It would be hard to find another CD collection that surpasses the quality of "Cherished Hymns". I especially appreciate the inclusion of the hymn texts and the hymn histories. Even my children have been enjoying playing these hymn cds constantly.
